Every trimester, I have to do a Trimester Portfolio. Here’s is my trimester portfolio for trimester three.

The first core class I will be doing for my Trimester Portfolio is Social Studies. The grade I got for this project was 95% and the only reason why I never got 100% was because I didn’t know how to say Johannes Gutenberg’s real, full name right. His full name Johann Gensfleisch Zur Laden. Here is my presentation!

The second core class I’m doing for my Trimester Portfolio is LA. I was content with my grade since it was 96%. This was probably my closest grade to 100%. Every time I put in a screenshot, the quality is pretty bad. Trust me, it was 96%.

The third core class I will be doing for my portfolio is science. This assignment was called Build an Atom and I got a 100% on this assignment. The papers say CR when you get 100%. I have always struggled in science since I don’t know anything about science.

The last core class I’m doing is math. I think that out of all of my subjects, I think I’m best at math. I can get through all of the homework and classwork. But when it comes to tests, I fold like origami. These past three tests, I have gotten 83%, 85%, and 75%. All lower then what I had. This worksheet was an SSAT and I got 100% on it.

This assignment was from the core class, art. I’m not really good at drawing so I like to do grid art. It takes absolutely no skill, you just have to color in squares. This assignment was an example of grid art I like to do. Most of the things in art aren’t graded so this didn’t get a grade ( sorry it’s the wrong way)

I’m pretty sure this is my last post of the school year so I tried to make this post a good one!

In this SBC, I did participate in all of the weeks. I didn’t enjoy the SBC as much as I did last time since it’s the same thing over and over. I kinda wanted something new for every week and not the same thing as the last SBC. In the ten-week period, I managed to write twelve posts ( including this post). I didn’t get a lot of comments from people since I never put my post into the google form.

The post I enjoyed making the most was week six, music. In that one, I got to say what type of music I like and the songs I like. For my web tools, I used Compfight and Pixabay. They both are the same thing and both give you free images including a copy-and-paste citation. I probably will keep blogging since we blog in seventh grade as well. I will keep posting in seventh grade and I’ll try to make it more interesting.

This SBC, I also got to make free posts. I found this most fun since I could write about whatever I wanted to write about. I could write about school, sports, etc. I hope the next SBC has more interesting challenges since this SBC wasn’t as interesting.

Another part I had to do for this week was to ask someone else to do an audit. Last time I asked my parents, but this time I asked my sister. One of the first impressions she made of the blog was it was nice. She liked the black background and the blue colored words. One of the things that first caught her attention was the mountain in the back of the name of my blog. Nothing really distracted her on the blog. One suggestion she gave me was to add my avatar to the avatar section. I never knew the avatar didn’t show up. I did do it?

I’m bored and couldn’t think of what to write about, so why not make a part two to my original favorite music list? Here it is.

5.  Lil Skies- Nowadays ft. Landon Cube (Dir. by @ColeBennet_)

This song was introduced by my friend’s brother when he let listen to his music. His playlist was mostly like mine; rap. But the one song that stood out to me the most was Nowadays. Lil Skies isn’t one of those “mumble” rappers, he actually is lyrical. I chose this song over the previous song because of the chorus.

6.  J.Cole-MIDDLE CHILD

MIDDLE CHILD was kinda like Nowadays, but has more rap. Nowadays has singing and rapping while MIDDLE CHILD just has rap. Not that I have a problem with it, it’s just I prefer the other more.

7.  Hi-Rez- Smiling

Smiling is kinda old and has worse sound quality then MIDDLE CHILD. Smiling is not the type of rap I like (fast rapping. I don’t like it because I never know what they’re saying), but the lyrics are so clean, It makes me like fast rapping.

8. Marshmello-Here With Me Feat. CHVRCHES

This song kind of calms down all the rapping and swearing in my playlist. Plus, it’s Marshmello.

 

First of all, I love music and my favorite genre of music is rap. I don’t like all the music that always play on the radio, but rather some semi-popular songs that are trying to get to that point. An example of a song that always plays on the radio, but I don’t like is SICKO MODE.

I’m first going to say my top four favorite songs.

I really love this song since Boogie’s voice and the beat in the background compliment each other. Plus,  who wouldn’t like this song?

I know this is on the radio a lot ( I’m such a liar about not liking really popular songs lol), but I find it interesting. I’m not going to lie, I heard this song through memes with the bass being ALL THE WAY up and breaking my ears. I like this song because it has country and rap in it.

This song has a lot of swears. A pretty decent amount. I found this song out from seventh-grader Kylen Lindo (thanks). Anyways, I like this song since this a true rap song, the chorus is really catchy, and the beat is so fire!!!

After having all rapping and swearing my playlist, let’s tone it down. I found this song from a youtuber and he used this song as an outro. TAKE ME HOME, COUNTRY ROADS, TO THE PLACE, I BELONG!!!! WEST VIRGINIA, MOUNTAIN MAMA!!!! I really like this song 😉 .

 

Next, I’ll be making a guessing game on songs. Three easy songs. I’ll say some lyrics.

First of all, I go to a private school.

I’m first going to compare a public school I know (Niu Valley) and my school I currently go to (HMS). As I said Niu Valley is a public school while HMS is a private school. Niu Valley is way bigger than HMS. Way bigger. Last of all, Niu Valley has a pretty good Varsity basketball team.

For my second prompt, I’m going to talk about HMS’s special events. During the school year, we have a lot of temple services. Around summer school, we have a Bon Dance. It’s gotten more boring every year for me. The best part about the Bon Dance is the food.

For an assignment, I had to comment on people that weren’t from my school. Here are the people I commented on.
