The Daley News #4 My Best Work from Trimester two ;)

The first work is going to be from Language Arts. My personal best work from that class came from a Wordly Wise test. I got a solid 96% on it and I was ecstatic since the previous test before that, I got a pretty low grade. Here’s the picture of it. Sorry for the really bad quality. I know you can’t see the number and it’s all blurry but I did get 96% on the test.

The Second work I will be presenting to you is from Social Studies. It’s my Social Studies slideshow that I made for Ancient China. The Slideshow includes who, what, when, and where about the Great Wall. Here it is. I chose the Great Wall of China because I thought it would be easiest.

 

The third work I will be showcasing is my math best work of the trimester. We had a speed drill test and I ended up placing second out of my class, with 43 questions answered in two minutes.

The fourth work is from science. I don’t really have any work I’m proud of since science is hard and boring. I guess my personal best work from science would be a Discovery Education kinetic energy assignment. I got all of the answers correct and that never happens with me in science.

My final best work is going to be from a resource class called library. My team had to make a slideshow about whatever and explain what it has to do with space. We chose food. I’m pretty proud of what we did. Here it is.

The Daley News #3 Apex Legends

There’s this new game made by EA called Apex Legends and I’m really loving it. Even More than Fortnite. It’s basically a first-person shooter in a battle royale. I really like it because of many reasons. One of those reasons is because there is no fall damage. Another good reason why it’s better than Fortnite is that it’s a first-person view and is more realistic. In Fortnite, the grass looks realistic but not as realistic as Apex legends. One downfall of the game is that you can only play squads, unlike Fortnite which has solos, duos, squads, 50 vs 50, etc. Also, you can only play with the people that play Apex on the same thing as you. For example, if I played on Xbox, I can only play with Xbox players, while in Fortnite, you can play with mobile, pc, and PS4 players. Last and final bad thing about the game is that it’s kind of pay to win. You have to pay for certain “better characters,” but the characters you start off with are good but if you know how to use them.

I know I’m pretty late (3 days late) to this but, if you’ve been living under a rock, then you wouldn’t know who won the super bowl. The Patriots won 13-3 against the Rams. I really hate the Patriots since I’m a Salty Seahawks fan. I call the Patriots, the Deflatriots. But, I have to admit, they are a really good team. To sum the game up, the Rams couldn’t do anything on offense and the Patriots capitalized on that. It was really painful to watch. But the opposite of the game was the halftime show. In my opinion, I think the halftime show is the best part of the super bowl. There’s always next year Rams fans!
